It is with bittersweet affection that we announce the end of an era. Industrielle Gallery & Boutique will continue to exist online, however, the door to our storefront has officially closed.

We are excited to evolve our brand to now include blog Shop Girl Oakland, an Ebay store site (coming soon) and a host of holiday events lined up for December.

We are grateful for the years spent on Grand Avenue and so appreciative to the city of Oakland, our customers, Art Murmur, artists and even street people who helped to invigorate the soul and spirit of Industrielle.

As part of Oaklands Art Murmur...

Patrons and art lovers
were invited to Industrielles last 1st Friday reception,
September 5, 2008.  People viewed new works by
Therese Brown, whose study in self-portraiture, by way of a pinhole camera, leaves a haunting and introspective imprint on the viewer.

Kind Women for womankind: An Art Auction to Benefit Women of Violence
was a huge success, raising over $4000 to benefit the women of the DRC and Sudan! Thank you to all the artists, patrons and supporters who participated and helped to make this a truly great event.
